Artist's Comments

What have I been doing all year at art college? Besides obviously neglecting DA.. practice. ^.^
Here's to my first deviation in months, which I'm still not completely satisfied with, but it's something.
The lazy eye related head tilt may or may not be intentional.

-art markers, minimal Photoshop smudging in the background

This picture is kind of creepy in its own way. The girl seems like she is swaying to the left (our left) but more in a way that she isn't losing her balance but like the viewers vision is being warped. This is complimented even more with the trees which at first appear flat and receding into the background but then towards the tops are popping out towards the center.

I don't know if it was supposed to feel surreal like that, but i think it works nice anyways.

Yay, No Brand! I had an awesome time this weekend, hope you did too.

Yeah, I tend to wonder if the warping is from right-handed paper tilt, my lazy eye, or because I've been studying Surrealism and all that craziness in Art History lately. Either way, the more I do subconsciously, the more people like it. I think I'll stick with that pattern.
:iconhagelt18:
Haha yeah, I had a lot of fun. It was nice running into you sort of once although you did seem confused to see me. lol

Lack of sleep forces the mind to conserve power, yes. I must've been set to 'super long life' at the time.
:iconhagelt18:
